Global Technologies Group, Inc. Concludes Successful Technical Discussions for Implementation of the MBSTM Process for Cement Plant

SARASOTA, FL--(Marketwire - Oct 31, 2011) - Global Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ GTGP ]) (Global), its partner company MSE Technology Applications (MSE) and the personnel from the plant have concluded the final technical discussions for the retrofit and implementation of the MBS technology for the removal of mercury from the emissions and for the disposal of the mercury treated wastes. Global and MSE have identified the procedures to be put into place that will benefit not only our company but it will also reduce the cost of disposal for the plants as well by rendering the waste nonhazardous for disposal at a regular waste site. This process will enable cement plants to meet the new EPA regulations that state all cement plants in this country must meet the new standards no later than 2013 or be shut down. The cement plant we are dealing with has agreed to the following:

It is sending MSE the mercury saturated material for testing to determine the appropriate mixture of MBS to render the material nonhazardous and meet the EPA requirements... Once the proper mixture is established, MSE and Global will proceed with a full live run at the plant itself. This project and all others in this industry will give Global long term contracts as it will need the technology and the MBS chemicals on a continuous basis for the life of the plants. "I now believe that this will be the benchmark for all cement plants in this country. It should be noted that MBS has been successfully tested in a large commercial power plant and was successful in removing Mercury from flue gasses to meet the EPA guidelines. To that end, our licensor was paid 2.1 million dollars for the specific use of MBS in power plants alone," stated James Fallacaro, President.
