GDT Tek is Granted Exclusive Rights for the USA and Canada for "The Cascade Reactor," the First Piezo Nuclear Reactor That Treats Liquid Wastes

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- GDT Tek (OTC:GDTK) from Orlando, Florida, today announced that it has been granted exclusive sales and distribution rights for all of the USA and Canada of "The Cascade Reactor," the first Piezo Nuclear Reactor developed by Steriwave-Startec in Greater London, England of the United Kingdom.

Please visit the Steriwave-Startec Website.  [ http://www.steriwave-startec.com ].

"THE CASCADE REACTOR" can be placed on almost any landfill or contaminated land for the treatment of  biological and non biological contamination such as chemical and hazardous waste as well as treating leachates from landfills.

GDT Tek's President, Bo Linton, commented, "Partners of Steriwave-GDT Tek, Steriwave-Startec, granted GDT Tek these exclusive rights because we can help deploy the systems. Steriwave-Startec understands our connections with the landfills and our ability and knowledge of how to set up a facility on a landfill. Naturally this makes this new agreement a win-win situation for us both."

Mr. Linton later stated, "The Steriwave-Startec Cascade Reactor fits well within our clean tech business model and can essentially be added into our current product line and existing customer base. I encourage everyone to independently learn more about the science behind the Piezo Nuclear reaction because it is this kind of science, turned into mechanical reality that can really change the World in a positive way."

The MINI DT1448 Ultrasonic Cascade has the following spec dimensions of 4500mm x 900mm x 150mm deep, constructed from 2mm 316L stainless steel. Driven by 96 transducers bonded and mechanically affixed to radiating plate, operating at 30Khz +/-1. Cascade to incorporate water inlet the controllable flow and fitting for recirculation, supported on angle iron frame and encased in 1mm stainless steel. Overall dimensions: 4700mm x 1100mm x 800mm deep Operated by 8 FMG generators producing 17200watts PK- PK, 8600watts PK, 4600watts RMS at 30Khz+/-1, featuring frequency sweep for more uniform and intense cavitation, auto follow to maintain power levels independent of temperature or loading, protected against over voltage, over temperature and mains bourn transients. Housed in free standing enclosure, featuring independent voltage controls to vary power levels and dwell time on the cascade plate, mains isolator, digital process timer and 8 individual generator running lamps. The system can be constructed to fit requirements to 20 times the size and over as per client needs.

About GDT Tek

GDT Tek, Inc. is an Orlando, Florida-based publicly traded company, with offices in Tustin, California, and Los Gatos, California (OTC: GDTK) focused on renewable and sustainable energy technologies. The company has licensed patented waste heat to electric power generation technology and is driving its adoption by power plants, landfills and other waste-heat generating industries. GDT Tek's waste heat to electricity systems are powerful enough to serve as a primary energy source, highly efficient, immediately cash-flow positive when installed under a Power Purchase Agreement and are scalable with system sizes from 150 KW/Hr to 5000 KW/Hr currently available. The GDT Tek system has been proven through a long-term five year installation at a San Jose, California-area landfill. Waste heat captured from landfill-generated methane gas generator engine exhaust and radiator jacket coolant systems is used by the GDT Tek system to generate electricity which is then sold to the grid. Professor Robert W. Dibble of the University of California at Berkeley assessed the GDT Tek system and stated that, "Of the many technologies that I have evaluated over the course of the past several decades, GDT Tek's heat to power conversion solution has proven to be the most reliable, versatile, efficient, lowest emissions, and overall cost-effective solution available in today's changing world market."

RTR Global Investments, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of GDT Tek, Inc. It holds projects, contracts, and power purchase agreements for its parent company GDT Tek, Inc.

Steriwave-GDT Tek LTD is a JV company with Steriwave Hungary LTD and is 50% owned subsidiary of GDT Tek. Steriwave-GDT Tek holds the ownership of the American Canyon Landfill project and has filed a patent application for a system that safely removes and captures methane hydrates from undersea reserves.
