CHATSWORTH, Calif., July 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- US Seismic Systems (USSI), a subsidiary company of Acorn Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: [ ACFN ]) announced today that it has received an order for custom downhole seismic systems based upon its revolutionary fiber optic sensor technology from a leading international oilfield seismic equipment company.
