Supertex Announces New Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - February 16, 2011) - Supertex, Inc. (NASDAQ: [ SUPX ]), a recognized leader in high voltage analog and mixed signal integrated circuits, today announced the appointment of Stephen Lin as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.

Mr. Lin joins Supertex with over 29 years' experience in marketing, general management and strategic acquisitions, primarily in Asia. He has held senior management positions in the semiconductor, telecommunications, and venture capital industries. Most recently, Mr. Lin was Managing Director of Mobility Ventures, a Shanghai based venture capital firm, and he was Vice President & General Manager of BU Mobile and Personal Entertainment and a board member of T3G, a division of Phillips Semiconductor in Shanghai. Prior to these posts he held VP and senior management positions at Zetex Asia Ltd., Legerity, AudioCodes, Dialogic, Siemens, and LSI Logic. Mr. Lin holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from McGill University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
