Data I/O Corporation Announces ProLINE-RoadRunner Programming Solution for Panasonic NPM Surface Mount Placement Machines

The ProLINE-RoadRunner™ is a high speed automated in-line programming feeder that mounts directly onto an SMT machine without consuming any additional floor space or altering the production line. By removing unprogrammed flash memory devices from tape, the ProLINE-RoadRunner programs four devices in parallel delivering the programmed parts to the pick up point of the placement machine.
The ProLINE-RoadRunner is a Just-In-Time in-line programming system featuring FlashCORE III, the world's fastest flash programming architecture available on the market today for programming high-density flash memories like e.MMC, SD and NAND flash. FlashCORE III is the highest-quality proven solution for programming Microcontrollers, EPROM, EEPROM, NOR Flash and many others.

The ProLINE-RoadRunner can be operated both locally and through a network interface. Design changes can be made as needed and downloaded directly to the RoadRunner's own IP address. The ProLINE-RoadRunner™ also provides PC Card Support for data and job transfer on Windows 95/98, Windows NT/2000, and Windows-XP. Built in diagnostics and job statistics are written to the RoadRunner's PC card and the statistics are saved back to TaskLink allowing the user to analyze production yields and throughput.
