Apoquindo Minerals Announces Investor Relations Appointment

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 6, 2010) - Apoquindo Minerals (TSX VENTURE:AQM)(BVLAC:AQM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Toronto-based Ann Gibbs as Director of Investor Relations. This appointment reflects the Company's ongoing commitment to develop relationships with the investment community in the major resource markets.

Ms. Gibbs will focus on building relationships with the broker and institutional investment community, while additionally developing external investor awareness and communications campaigns. Ms. Gibbs' prior involvement in the mining industry includes representation of a number of exploration and development companies, including Frontera Copper Corporation, Bannerman Resources, Goldcrest Resource Corporation, First Nickel Inc., International Nickel Ventures Corp. and Kensington Resources Ltd. She has developed and led investor relations programs that encompass the spectrum of corporate activities including financings and project advancement from feasibility to production.
