MALTON, ENGLAND--(Marketwire - November 17, 2009) - Propalms, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ PRPM ]) is pleased to announce that the Company has reached the next phase of development of its new Propalms VDI (Virtual Desktop Integration) product, which is being specifically designed to be compatible with Microsoft Hyper-V. Propalms expects to complete the development of its new product by the end of the first quarter of 2010. Microsoft Hyper-V is a variant to Windows Server 2008 and was released as a standalone solution on October 1, 2008.

Building on many years of successfully delivering applications in the Terminal Services arena, Propalms feels that the market is ready for a terminal services solution that can provide business with enhanced solutions working off of Microsoft's Hyper V platform. Propalms VDI is designed to be a highly scalable virtual desktop solution capable of provisioning, managing, and brokering connections to virtual and physical machines running various client operating systems. According to analyst group Gartner, desktop virtualization will coexist with, rather than replace, personal computers and server-based computing. Gartner also predicts that the market for desktop virtualization will triple in size this year with approximately $300 Million in software sales being generated.

"As a Microsoft ISV Gold Partner we are extremely excited about developing this new technology to sit hand and hand with Microsoft Hyper-V. The VDI market place is set for huge growth and it is Propalms aim to be a part of this. With our Terminal Services and VDI solutions, we feel that we are ideally placed to offer customers the right solution for their application delivery requirements," stated Owen Dukes CEO, Propalms, Inc.
