VANCOUVER, Nov. 20 /CNW/ - Voice Mobility International, Inc. (TSX: VMY, OTCBB: VMII and FWB: VMY), a Vancouver-based developer and provider of carrier and enterprise messaging solutions, announced today that its third quarter financial results are available.

The company posted quarterly sales of $210, loss from operations of ($496,354) and a quarterly comprehensive loss of ($613,266), or ($0.01) per diluted share. These results compare to 2008 quarterly sales of $417,351, loss from operations of ($594,816) and a quarterly comprehensive loss of ($295,731), or ($0.01) per diluted share.

"Investors will see a sharp decline in the sales numbers this quarter as the company undergoes management and marketplace changes," said Bill Krebs, Chairman, Voice Mobility. "The company has been restructuring its operations to increase its focus on the hosted marketplace that is gaining momentum with key partners like Google(R) which offer a variety of Software as a Service (SaaS) or On-Demand Solutions. Economic conditions are speeding the adoption of SaaS services, as they require lower up-front capital costs for users to implement services such as Voice Mobility's Unified Communication solutions."
