Interactivation: Mag Rack -- Free Video-On-Demand Network -- Now Available on DIRECTV
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - October 5, 2009) - [ Interactivation ], a New York City-based media company that owns the Video-On-Demand (VOD) network [ Mag Rack ], announced today that it has signed an agreement to distribute its Mag Rack programming on the [ DIRECTV ] on DEMAND platform.
Acquired from Cablevision in 2008 and now available in 30 million homes, Mag Rack is a free VOD television network dedicated to helping viewers make the most of life with content that inspires and informs. Mag Rack offers shows in a broad array of categories, including kids, health, fitness, pets, magic and cooking.
Programs range from Italian-American cooking with "The Sopranos" star Steve Schirripa ("Steve Schirripa's Hungry"), to beginner pet care with veterinary personality Marc Marrone ("The Pet Shop") or nurturing your child's creativity with acclaimed actor John Lithgow ("Paloozaville").
DIRECTV also carries the [ CONCERT.TV ] VOD network which is also owned by Interactivation.
