Cincinnati Bell Launches Online White Pages
CINCINNATI--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Cincinnati Bell Inc. (NYSE: CBB) recently launched the Cincinnati Bell Online White Pages, a continuously updated database of local residential and business telephone numbers. To better serve its customers, Cincinnati Bell now provides access to the most current directory listings through the Cincinnati Bell Online White Pages, which is conveniently located at [ www.zoomtown.com ].
"Many of our customers turn to the Internet as an important means of finding information. The Cincinnati Bell Online White Pages is a convenient way to search for the most up-to-date local directory listings, and anyone with Internet access can use it," said Brian Duerring, director of the Cincinnati Bell Online White Pages. "Although other companies may provide some form of electronic white pages information, our Online White Pages delivers the most accurate, complete, and current telephone listings for Greater Cincinnati residences and businesses."
In addition to improving accessibility and accuracy, Cincinnati Bell believes that making White Pages information available online will also help reduce waste because it eliminates the need to automatically deliver printed copies to customers who may not want or use them. The Cincinnati Bell Online White Pages contains all of the same directory listings that will appear in the printed edition. However, the printed version does not contain new listings between its annual printing dates. This means that the Online White Pages will always have the most current information.
The Cincinnati Bell Online White Pages is located in the center section of [ www.zoomtown.com ], Cincinnati Bell's Internet home page. Visitors can search by name for an individual, business, or government entity. By selecting the "reverse search" tab, visitors enter a phone number and can find a customer's name. Customers who have "unlisted" or "non-published" numbers are not included in the Online White Pages. For customers who prefer having the annually printed version, Cincinnati Bell will provide copies, which are always available at any Cincinnati Bell retail store throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. The next printed edition of the White Pages will be available in June 2009.
