On July 10, 2023, China successfully launched the ChinaSat-10R communications satellite into a geosynchronous transfer orbit using a Long March 3B rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The satellite, built by the China Academy of Space Technology, is designed to provide high-throughput communications services, including broadband internet access, over China and neighboring regions.
