The North Central Michigan College (NCMC) has received a significant financial boost for its $22 million Career and Technical Education Enhancement Project. The project, aimed at expanding and enhancing educational facilities, has been supported by a $1.5 million grant from the State of Michigan's RAP 2.0 program, which focuses on revitalizing and placemaking. This funding will help in constructing a new facility to house the college's expanding nursing, robotics, and manufacturing programs. The project also includes the development of a new student center, improvements to the library, and upgrades to the athletic facilities.
