Invitation to press briefing at CES: Ericsson in music collaboration with Avicii

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN--(Marketwire - Jan 7, 2013) - Ericsson will tomorrow launch a global music crowdsourcing project Avicii x You' - in collaboration with Universal Music and At Night Management.

In the Avicii x You' project, Ericsson is teaming up with superstar producer and DJ, Avicii, in line with its vision of the Networked Society. The project will feature the release of the world's first and largest chart-topping single - in collaboration with fans and producers from all around the globe.

We will be telling you more about this on Tuesday, January 8, at 15:00 local time at our booth # 13638 at Central Hall at 2013 International CES in Las Vegas.

You will meet Ash, Avicii's manager and partner and Ericsson President and CEO Hans Vestberg.

Besides discovering and producing the music industry's hottest new acts, Ash has been behind the scenes producing a few of of his own tracks, which Avicii has been playing in his live sets. He will be available for one-on-one interviews after the briefing.

Ericsson's expertise in global connectivity will help power this project, which begins with Avicii asking fans and producer from all corner of the world to create and submit sound files over the internet. The project addresses the impact of connectivity on creativity and it's an experiment to show how the Networked Society enables innovation and business transformation.
