AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- HomeAway, Inc. (NASDAQ: [ AWAY ]), the world's leading online marketplace of vacation rentals today announces the appointment of Stephen Feltner as vice president of sales, and Taleeb Noormohamed as director of business development.

Feltner will draw upon his extensive experience growing and developing strong sales teams in online advertising and listing businesses to manage all sales initiatives at HomeAway focused on owners, property managers and online advertising. He will also work cross-functionally with product and marketing teams to optimize HomeAway's offering for its owner and property manager customers.

Feltner joins HomeAway from CityGrid Media, where he served as senior vice president of sales. There he led a team of 100 and was responsible for increasing sales productivity. Prior to CityGrid Media, Feltner was vice president of sales at Oodle Marketplace and the Marketplace on Facebook.

Feltner holds a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from Texas Tech University and an MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles.  

HomeAway also welcomes Noormohamed to a role focused on all aspects of business development, including crafting strategy, identifying partnership targets, negotiating deals and overseeing integrations. His primary duty will be securing high quality partnerships that both increase inventory and broaden HomeAway's distribution.

Before joining HomeAway, Noormohamed served a short stint as general manager of the homes business unit at Jetsetter™, a Gilt Groupe company, responsible for assessing and restructuring the value proposition of the company's vacation home business unit. Prior to Jetsetter, Noormohamed was president and CEO at Serebra Learning Corporation. At Serebra, he diversified the company's revenue streams through partnership development and established new product lines to monetize Serebra's product and technology innovation.

Noormohamed holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton University.
