RESTON, Va., Oct. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- [ NII Holdings ], Inc. (NASDAQ: [ NIHD ]) today announced that due to the severe weather effects of Hurricane Sandy, the company will reschedule its third quarter 2012 earnings announcement and conference call to November 7, 2012.

 "We've made the decision to reschedule our earnings announcement to provide our employees and stakeholders the time necessary to focus on their safety and recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy," said Steve Dussek, NII Holdings' chief executive officer.

Following the earnings announcement, the Company will host a conference call with its senior management to discuss its results and recent business activities. The details of the conference call are posted below.
