SYDNEY--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Duncan Solutions is working in partnership with [ Transaction Network Services (NYSE: TNS) ] to provide Australiaas Local Council operators with new EMV-certified payment acceptance equipment and [ card present transaction processing ] for its extensive network of parking meters across the country.
Duncan Solutions, one of the worldas oldest and largest parking equipment providers, is working with TNS and local banks to EMV-certify its latest generation of pay and display and pay by space meters. The Duncan equipment will use EMVCo Certified readers and software, along with the TNS PCI DSS certified [ Secure Payments Network ], for secure and highly available processing and [ authorization of card payments ]. Through the upgrade, Duncanas Local Council operator customers will guarantee their compliance with the upcoming card-scheme deadlines and also reduce the cost of processing by moving from Card Not Present (CNP) transactions to EMV-certified card present transactions.
