MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - Feb 23, 2012) - Twin Cities based Tierney Brothers, Inc., an audiovisual technology integrator, today announced an agreement with SMART (NYSE: [ SMT ]), the world's leading provider of interactive whiteboards, to become a SMART Certified Training Center (SCTC). The new designation will allow Tierney Brothers to provide [ SMART Certification training ], a service highly sought after by many of the 40 million SMART Board interactive whiteboards users in classrooms and offices around the world.

Tierney Brothers, [ which launched a new professional development division last year ], will become the first SMART Certified Training Center based in the Midwest and one of only a small handful in the United States.
