SEATTLE, Jan. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Baristas Coffee Company, Inc. (OTCPK: BCCI) announces that it is holding an open casting call/audition for parts in its new reality TV show being produced by M&M Productions in Tampa, Florida on Jan 30, 2012.
The auditions are being held at the Tampa location at 3601 W. Gandy Blvd. Tampa, FL 33611 between 10:00am and 5:00pm.
The series has been in development for some time and preliminary shooting for casting and character development has commenced in Seattle. The show profiles the fierce competition between Baristas for top shifts as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by the management while expanding the business. There is no lack of drama in documenting the daily lives of top Baristas, as the stakes are high and each Barista will stop at nothing to ensure that they have the best shift, and earn top dollars in the very lucrative position as a "Baristas" barista.
M&M Productions is one of the most prolific producers of poker entertainment programming in the United States. In 2010 and 2011, M&M produced over 100 original hours on Fox Broadcast, including The Million Dollar Challenge, the most watched poker show in television history. M&M Productions was founded by Mark Mayer, a 20-year veteran of sports and unscripted entertainment. Emmy winning Director, Mark Teitelman will lead the creative efforts in filming and editing "Baristas." Teitelman directed "Hoosiers 2" with Matthew Perry, "Star Wars: ESPN Fantasy Football," "Lance is a Jerk" with Lance Armstrong, and Rainn Wilson, and "Hero Dog Awards" with Paula Abdul, Bette White, and Carson Kressley. He has been a consistent Producer of NFL games including the international feed of the "2011 Super Bowl" and currently "Thursday Night Football." He also directs numerous commercials and segments for the likes of Mattel, and the "ESPY's." Mark is producing the awards show for the 2012 Super Bowl just prior to filming "Baristas."
