For example, users can send destination data from a mobile device directly to the navigation system, and then receive turn-by-turn, voice-guided directions to the location. While en route, alerts for traffic incidents or congestion will be delivered in real time. Users will be able to request alternate route or detour options to avoid delays, and 3D map displays will provide realistic visuals of the route. After parking the vehicle, the user can seamlessly complete their journey with pedestrian guidance on their mobile device.
