CSM Systems Corp. Appoints New Board Member
EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 23, 2011) - CSM Systems Corp., (TSX VENTURE:CKX), is pleased to announce the appointment of Perry Kinkaide to the Board of Directors.
Perry Kinkaide is the founder and President and CEO of the Alberta Council of Technologies, President of Kinkaide Enterprises Inc. (KEI), former Managing Director of KPMG Consulting in Edmonton and Assistant Deputy Minister with the Alberta Government. Mr. Kinkaide was recognized in the July 2007 by Alberta Venture magazine as one of 50 "most influential" Albertans.
Upon retirement in 2001, Mr. Kinkaide established KEI, for allocating venture capital and assigning operating officers to emerging technology-based, enterprises in Western Canada. In 2005 he founded the Alberta Council of Technologies. The non-profit, independent Society of just under 9500 subscribers, advocates, educates, and celebrates the commercialization of emerging technologies and serves as an industry development advisor for the Canadian/Alberta Fusion Energy Program, Alberta Cell Therapy Alliance, Alberta Campus Tech and the Alberta CleanTech Industry Alliance.
Mr. Kinkaide earned a B.A. degree from Colgate University in 1964, M.Sc. (1967) and Ph.D. (1972) from the University of Alberta in brain research. Perry is a public member of the board of Directors for the Alberta Public Planners Institute, and serves as Director of: General Credit Services, Troy Media, Bedrock Environmental Services, Trelenium, Visionstate, and formerly, Goodwill Industries, the Certified Management Accountants of Alberta, and the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Alberta. He is the Past Chair of St. Albert's Community Health Council and the Continuous Learning Community Society. Special interests include: golf and sailing, gardening and governance.
