Visionstate Leverages Google Maps for South Edmonton Common iPhone App
EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 27, 2011) - Finding stores, brands, and products within South Edmonton Common has been made significantly easier thanks to a major upgrade to Visionstate Inc.'s iPhone app for the popular power center located in Edmonton, Alberta.
To improve the app's wayfinding capabilities, Visionstate Inc., a division of CSM Systems Corp. (TSX VENTURE:CKX), leveraged Google maps with color coded overlays to make it that much simpler for shoppers to find what they are looking for in the 320 acre development.

The iPhone app for South Edmonton Common has experienced thousands of downloads since its original launch in December 2010. Along with wayfinding the app also features a powerful search engine that enables shoppers to find restaurants, entertainment, products and brands throughout the development.
To further enhance wayfinding, Visionstate Inc. is now working with Cameron Development Corporation to install site-based wayfinding in key locations throughout the centre.
