Cadence Kicks Off Global User Conferences With CDNLive! EMEA

MUNICH, GERMANY--(Marketwire - April 13, 2011) - Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: [ CDNS ]), a leader in global electronic design innovation, inaugurates its annual series of technical user [ conferences ] with [ CDNLive! ][ EMEA ] (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), to be held May 3-5 at the Dolce Hotel in Munich. The worldwide CDNLive! events bring together thousands of Cadence® technology users, developers, and industry experts to examine challenges and synthesize solutions for developing innovative electronic designs.

This year's conference will focus on new technologies and methodologies for Realizing [ EDA360 ]. Attendees can share best practices on critical design and verification issues and explore new techniques for realizing advanced silicon, SoCs, and systems. New this year, following last year's acquisition of Denali by Cadence, the conference will host dedicated technical sessions for Denali customers and attendees of MemCon, an event Denali sponsored that focused on standards and new product information.

The three-day conference will feature keynote presentations by Cadence President and CEO Lip-Bu Tan. The guest speaker this year is Philippe Magarshack, Group Vice President, Technology R&D, at STMicroelectronics. During the event, attendees will be able to choose from a wide range of live product demonstrations of the latest features and capabilities, in depth user-presented technical papers, comprehensive road map presentations, dynamic panel discussions and social networking opportunities with peers.
