LAVAL, QC, Jan. 19 /CNW Telbec/ - 20-20 Technologies Inc. (TSX:TWT) ("20-20" or the "Company") announced today that following the recent completion of an in-depth review of the skills and experience required for its Board going forward, the Board of Directors of the Company has selected two candidates for inclusion as nominees in the Company's Management Information Circular for its upcoming Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders on March 15, 2011, in replacement of two current directors.
As part of the mandate granted by the Board to the Human Resources and Governance Committee, the composition of the Board has been analyzed and adapted to better support the Company's new strategic plan. The Board believes that the two nominees, with their extensive software expertise as well as solid financial backgrounds, will complement the mix of skills and expertise currently found on the Company's Board.

MKS's focused product strategy, growth and profitability has positioned it to become the global leader in the ALM market. Prior to joining MKS, Mr. Deck was Chairman and/or CEO of Certicom Corp from 1993 to 1999 where he established the company as one of the worldwide leaders in cryptographic technology. Prior to his tenure at Certicom, Mr. Deck was engaged in merchant banking and venture capital.
Mr. Deck is also a Director of the Bank of Canada, the C.D. Howe Institute and the Canadian Opera Company. Mr. Deck holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Queen's University.
In addition, the Board is also pleased to propose the nomination of Mr. Lucas Skoczkowski, Chief Executive Officer of Redknee Inc., a global provider of innovative communication software products, solutions and services listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. As Redknee's founder, Mr. Skoczkowski has been directing the execution of Redknee's business activities and corporate operations since 1999. In his years at Redknee, he has led the development of the company's product portfolio and a global organization of exceptional talent resulting in continuous growth and a strong recurring revenue stream. Prior to Redknee, Mr. Skoczkowski gained considerable experience in sales, operations, business and product development with a variety of international companies including Nortel Networks (USA, UK, Canada) and Clearnet Communications Inc.
Mr. Skoczkowski has been honoured with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Information Technology sector for Ontario as well as a Top 40 Under 40 Award for Canada. Mr. Skoczkowski has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where he was a Loran scholar.
"Our Board and management are pleased by the additional value and expertise that would come from the addition of Mr. Deck and Mr. Skoczkowski as independent Directors on the Company's Board," said Jocelyn Proteau, Vice-Chairman of the Board and Lead Director.
