    • NASA is delaying the launch of the SPHEREx telescope to uncover the ingredients for life in our galaxy, as well as the PUNCH mission to study the sun's mysteries.

NASA's latest endeavor in space exploration involves the launch of the Habitable Worlds Observatory, a space telescope designed to search for the key ingredients necessary for life on exoplanets. This ambitious project aims to analyze the atmospheres of distant planets for signs of water, oxygen, and other potential biosignatures. Scheduled for launch in the late 2020s or early 2030s, the telescope will utilize advanced technology to directly image planets and study their light spectra, which could reveal the presence of life-supporting conditions. This mission not only seeks to expand our understanding of where life might exist beyond Earth but also represents a significant step in the technological and scientific capabilities of space observation.
