In Orion NCM's newest update, SolarWinds has taken two significant steps to make NCCM more accessible and reliable. - Detect configuration policy violations to ensure compliance with federal regulations and corporate standards, including Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS).
- Integrate Orion NCM data into Orion Network Performance Monitor (NPM) alerts to include diagnostic data from config scripts, the last config changes or trigger an action to back up the running config.
- Leverage user tracking to quickly identify which device is wired or wirelessly connected to which end host resource through Orion NPM integration.
By integrating Orion NCM seamlessly with Orion NPM, IT teams can easily manage configuration, fault and performance across complex, multi-vendor networks. Through a single web console, users can access both real-time availability statistics and configuration change history for all network devices, providing a comprehensive IT management solution.
