mPhase Technologies Announces Name Change for First Product

LITTLE FALLS, NJ--(Marketwire - October 27, 2009) - mPhase Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: [ XDSL ]) today announced that it has renamed its first product that is expected to be available for consumer purchase in early 2010. Previously named the AlwaysReady Emergency Flashlight, mPhase has renamed the product the mPower Emergency Illuminator. The product will be branded and marketed under mPower Technologies, the newly created and 100% wholly owned consumer products division of mPhase Technologies.

The mPower brand will be used to create a distinctive line of products that utilize mPhase's unique advanced battery technology. The mPower Emergency Illuminator offers a sleek design and is manufactured to the highest quality to ensure that users will have light and Power On Command™ when and where it is needed.
