The CN50 uses ANADIGICS' [ HELP3™ ] (3rd Generation High Efficiency at Low Power) power amplifiers to enable connectivity on high-speed wireless broadband networks utilizing [ WCDMA/HSPA ] or [ CDMA/EVDO ] technology. The ANADIGICS [ power amplifiers ] support operation in the Cellular, PCS, IMT, AWS and KPCS bands. ANADIGICS' PA modules are differentiated by their high linearity and power efficiency, which are necessary for a high-performance broadband mobile experience for consumers. ANADIGICS' proprietary HELP3™ technology reduces average current consumption by as much as 75 percent, compared to a conventional [ PA ], enabling longer battery life.
The CN50 is designed specifically for the "hold and carry" activities of postal, field service, transportation, and commercial delivery workers. The lightweight, multi-function CN50 eliminates the need to manage multiple devices such as cell phones, digital cameras and document scanners, thereby reducing operational costs while improving service quality, accuracy, responsiveness and worker productivity. The WAN Flexible Network™ Radio allows enterprises to standardize on a single hardware platform that can be configured for either CDMA/EVDO or WCDMA/HSPA wireless networks, providing the flexibility to choose the network that provides the best geographic coverage and cost.
