David C. Myers to Join Scientific Learning as Senior Vice President, Sales and Services

OAKLAND, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Scientific Learning Corporation (NASDAQ:SCIL) today announced that David C. Myers will join the Company as its new Senior Vice President, Sales and Services. Mr. Myers is a highly regarded sales leader with extensive experience in sales of educational software to K-12 schools.

Andy Myers, President and COO stated, "I have known Dave since 1995 when we both started our K-12 sales careers with the Waterford Institute. He is an excellent addition to our executive team and brings us great depth of experience in building, motivating and mentoring sales teams in our industry. Dave Myers joins us from Pearson Education, where he has held positions in direct sales and in regional and national sales management, including Vice President of the Secondary Digital Sales team. In his most recent role, Dave led a field sales group of 80 representatives. Mr. Myers started his career as a bilingual elementary education teacher and holds Master of Education and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Brigham Young University.
