BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwire - December 16, 2008) - View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: [ VSYM ]), a leading homeland defense solutions provider, announced today that negotiations have begun and the merger with Wytan is underway.

The firm has started the process of relocating manufacturing to Wytan's headquarters in Denver. Meanwhile, the Baltimore office will remain open as a sales and service branch.

Gunther Than, CEO of View Systems, states, "Wytan's manufacturing expertise paired with View's technological headway will lead the firm to a higher standard of production. By keeping the Baltimore office open for sales and service, we intend to keep our revenues flowing.
