Joydeep Chowdhury, a young researcher from Nimta, North Dum Dum, was found dead in his hostel at King Abdullah University in Saudi Arabia. His grieving parents request intervention from the Bengal government for a thorough investigation and expedited repatriation of Joydeep's body.

A researcher from North Dum Dum, identified as 36-year-old Dr. Muhammad Asfan, was found dead in his room in Saudi Arabia under mysterious circumstances. Dr. Asfan had been working at the King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh for the past two years. His body was discovered after his family, unable to reach him, contacted his colleagues. The local police are investigating the case, and while the cause of death has not been officially confirmed, there are unverified reports suggesting it might be due to a heart attack. His family and friends are awaiting further details from the authorities.
