The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in the Philippines has launched "DOSTv: Science for the People," the country's first science travel show on television. Airing on PTV-4, the show aims to make science accessible and engaging by exploring various regions of the Philippines to highlight local scientific innovations, research, and technological advancements. Each episode features DOST Secretary Renato Solidum Jr. and other experts visiting different provinces to showcase how science and technology are integrated into everyday life, from agriculture to disaster resilience.
