At the 28th Children's Science Congress held in Visakhapatnam, GVMC Commissioner C.M. Saikanth Varma highlighted the crucial role of children in environmental conservation, referring to them as "true environmental warriors." He emphasized the importance of fostering scientific temper among the youth to address environmental challenges. The event, organized by the Andhra Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (APCOST) and the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC), featured various activities like science exhibitions, quizzes, and debates, aimed at engaging students in scientific inquiry and environmental awareness. The Commissioner also praised the efforts of APCOST in promoting science education and encouraged students to continue their involvement in such initiatives to contribute positively to society.
