Forte Energy NL ACN 009 087 852 ASX, AIM and Media Release 13th November 2012 Drilling Programme commenced at the A238 Prospect in Mauritania Forte Energy NL ("Forte Energy" or "the Company") (ASX/AIM: FTE) is an emerging international uranium company focused on the exploration and development of a portfolio of uranium assets in the Republics of Mauritania and Guinea, West Africa. The Company is pleased to announce that the Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling programme will start on the 14th November, 2012 and includes 54 holes totalling over 8,200m. The objective of the drilling campaign is to test the highly prospective areas along strike in the Zednes shear zone to the northwest and the southeast of the A238 prospect. To the north of the existing A238 prospect the structure continues for over 2km, near to surface and outcropping. To the south of the A238 prospect the surveys have confirmed that the structure extends to the south under quaternary cover for more than 3.5km. The RC drilling programme started on the 12th November with a RC drill rig from Drillcorp Sahara Ltd testing the extensions to the south of the A238 prospect. The drilling programme to the south, stepping out at 200m intervals, includes 38 holes, totalling 5,700m and is scheduled to be completed in January 2013. In addition to representative samples being sent for assay, Poseidon Geophysics (Pty) Ltd will be conducting down-hole radiometric logging for all of the holes. The drilling programme is scheduled to be completed by mid-February 2013. CSA Global Pty Ltd will be updating the geological resource model during the course of the drilling programme with the objective of completing a resource update by the end of the first quarter 2013. Commenting on the update, Mark Reilly, Managing Director of Forte Energy, said: "The initiation of this drilling programme is key step in our efforts to better understand the highly prospective extensions to the north and south of the A238 Prospect and to work towards our wider goal of significantly building up the Company's resource base to well over 50Mlbs."
