This global multi-vendor interoperability event is organized by the MultiService Forum (MSF), the European Telecoms Standards Institute (ETSI) and the GSM Association (GSMA), and hosted by China Mobile in the China Mobile Research Institute Laboratory in Beijing and by Telecom Slovenia Group in Sintesio, Kranj, Slovenia.

Radisys will supply its Software Media Server, along with technical expertise to facilitate rapid integration with other participant equipment in a fully functioning IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) ecosystem environment. The Radisys Software Media Server will be performing as an IMS Media Resource Function (MRF), responding to media processing requests from IMS call control equipment supplied by other vendor participants in this interoperability event. It will support VoLTE announcements and branding service test cases, along with Rich Communications Suite (RCS) call flows under the control of the GENBAND A2a" Communications Application Server. In addition, Radisys will also supply a prototype IMS video application server and video User Element (UE) equipment to demonstrate RCS video sharing, video conferencing, and video transcoding use cases throughout the interoperability event.
