Futura Signs Co-Marketing and Services Integration Agreement With BNA Smart Payment Systems
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 24, 2012) - The Futura Loyalty Group Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FUT) ("Futura") announced today that it has entered into a co-marketing and services integration partnership agreement with BNA Smart Payment Systems Ltd. ("BNA"), an Aurora, Ontario based innovative payment processor with the latest technology and services to accept credit and debit cards.
Under the agreement, BNA is enabling its payment devices so that merchants can process Aeroplan transactions for Futura merchants on the BNA payment terminals, making it simple and fast to process Aeroplan transactions should they wish to, thereby creating a value added payments offering for the merchant. Futura has integrated its loyalty transaction solution with BNA's payment systems to provide seamless transaction of payment and loyalty issuance of Aeroplan Miles at the point of sale. The consumer or merchant will be able to swipe an Aeroplan card or enter an Aeroplan collector number on the terminal, regardless of tender type, and have that information along with the number of Aeroplan Miles earned transmitted directly to Futura for processing.
In addition, BNA and Futura have created a marketing and sales partnership to cross market and cross sell each other's products and services for mutual benefit.
