NEW HOPE, PA--(Marketwire - Mar 26, 2012) - Quepasa Corporation (
ReachOut.com helps teens and young adults improve their understanding of mental health issues, develop resilience, build coping-skills and increase help-seeking behavior. It provides evidenced-based information and supports, real life stories and the ability to connect and contribute in a safe and supported community.
"Young adults have a lot on their plate these days," says Catherine Cook, Vice President of Strategy for Quepasa Corporation. "From balancing schoolwork with home life and relationships, we want our members to know that if they're struggling, they're not alone," added Cook, who is co-founder of myYearbook and also a member of the Reach Out Youth Council.
ReachOut is a valuable resource where members can go for support, information and to interact with other members who face similar struggles. Using myYearbook's Ask Me application, members are able to anonymously ask questions on a range of mental health issues each week.
Additionally, ReachOut will be added to myYearbook Causes, allowing members to also donate their virtual currency, Lunch Money. As with all myYearbook Causes, the company writes a check for real US dollars at the end of every month based on the giving activity of myYearbook members.
