The honor was announced at an awards ceremony held at Londonas Battersea Evolution hotel last week.

To meet the Sunday Times awardas entry requirements Rackspace was required to carry out an internal poll of its workersa opinions on their workplace and job function. A total of 83% of Rackspace aRackersa said that they were extremely proud to work for the company; and 80% felt that they could make a valuable contribution to the firmas wider market success.

The awards were judged by using views from employees and the policies and processes of the employers themselves. The list seeks to identify best practice and ranks companies chiefly by their results in eight key indicators of staff engagement.
