Computer Modelling Group Announces Director Appointment
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Feb. 9, 2012) - Computer Modelling Group Ltd. ("CMG") is pleased to announce that Christopher L. Fong has joined its Board of Directors, effective today. Mr. Fong will also serve as a member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. The appointment fills a director position left vacant following the unfortunate passing of Ken McCready in July 2011.
Mr. Fong is a professional engineer with more than 35 years of experience in the energy business. After 28 years with the Royal Bank of Canada, Mr. Fong retired in 2009 as Managing Director, Corporate Banking, Energy, RBC Capital Markets. He was involved in the marketing and coverage of energy clients around the world, including companies operating in oil and gas, oil field services and utilities. Prior thereto, he worked as a petroleum engineer in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Fong is currently a director of three other TSX-listed companies and sits on the Petroleum Advisory Committee of the Alberta Securities Commission. He also serves on boards for a number of not-for-profit entities.
