ITT Exelis Appoints Anderson to Lead its Mission Systems Strategic Initiatives

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--([ ])--ITT Exelis (NYSE: XLS) has appointed Chuck Anderson vice president and director of strategic initiatives for its Colorado Springs-based Mission Systems business area.

A retired Army general officer, Anderson, 53, will serve as the integrating official responsible for executing and delivering on a centralized portfolio of projects reflecting the divisionas strategic priorities. Based in Colorado Springs, he will report to Ken Hunzeker, president of the Mission Systems division of Exelis.

Anderson holds a bacheloras degree from the United States Military Academy, as well as masteras degrees in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College; physical education from Indiana University; systems management from the University of Southern California; and business administration from Long Island University.
