BLUE BELL, Pa., April 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- C&D Technologies, Inc., (OTC: CHHP), a leading North American producer and marketer of batteries, battery systems and integrated standby power systems, today announced the appointment of David J. Anderson to the position of Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.  David will report to Dr. Jeffrey A. Graves, C&D Technologies' President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining C&D, David was the Vice President and General Counsel of Kulicke & Soffa Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: [ KLIC ]), a global leader in the design and manufacture of semiconductor and LED assembly equipment, located in Singapore.  Before that, he was a corporate lawyer in private practice in Philadelphia.
