Universal Music Group (UMG) Partners With m-Wise to Deliver English and Spanish Mobile Storefront Solutions for the US Market

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - July 14, 2010) - Universal Music Group (UMG), the world's leading music company, has partnered with mobile content technology vendor [ m-Wise ] (OTCBB: [ MWIS ]) to provide fully managed mobile storefront solutions with keyword management platform and campaign creation to UMG in the United States. The announcement was made today by David Ring, Executive Vice President of Business Development & Business Affairs for UMG's eLabs, and Zach Sivan, m-Wise's Chief Executive Officer.

Under this agreement, m-Wise, a technology expert in [ mobile content management and delivery ], will work with UMG to launch a centralized system to drive [ mobile content sales ], reporting, tracking and payments to artists. Additionally, this partnership with m-Wise will allow UMG to piggyback sales of mobile content not just online but in print, TV, radio, social media and other marketing and distribution channels.

m-Wise's [ m-Store ] platform is an international platform with the ability to transact and market in multiple languages and multiple currencies. This powerful platform will also enable UMG to drive mobile content promotions easily and effectively with the m-Wise keyword management platform and campaign creation system. The m-Wise platform will provide full integration with all the top Tier 1 & Tier 2 carriers offering content at a variety of price points, and will be fully integrating with UMG's mobile partners, such as Mozes, Echospin & Netbiscuits. By leveraging the m-Wise m-Store platform, UMG will be able to promote free content, sell individual content and even create content bundles in both English and Spanish in just minutes, using a simple, step-by-step approach.
