NetSol Technologies, Inc.: NetSol Technologies Wins Agreement From Maroof Hospital for Implementation of Hospital Management Sy

The agreement is part of a $1 million technology investment by Maroof Hospital under which NetSol will customize, configure and implement the Maroof Hospital Management System software. The implementation is expected to begin in the current fiscal 2009 quarter, marking NetSol's second major implementation of its HMS software since the platform was launched. The HMS software is currently being developed in partnership with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, a leading hospital offering advanced healthcare in the treatment of cancer and related illnesses.

Maroof International Hospital is a 200-bed general hospital, offering quality healthcare through its teams of highly trained physicians. In addition to its outpatient clinic that has been built to accommodate 22 clinical consultancy areas, including medicine, gastroenterology, cardiology, surgery, orthopedic, radiology, urology, gynecology and primary care, it plans to expand into selective tertiary services, including centers of excellence in cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedic surgery, radiology, and pathology.
