MU launches AI help bot 'Roary' to support student success

The University of Missouri has introduced an AI-powered help bot named Roary, designed to enhance student success by providing instant support on various campus-related queries. Roary, which stands for "Resource Optimization and Assistance for You," was developed in collaboration with the university's Division of Information Technology and the Office of the Provost. This chatbot aims to assist students with information on academic resources, campus events, and general inquiries, thereby improving their overall experience at MU. Roary is part of a broader initiative to integrate AI technology into the educational environment, making resources more accessible and helping students navigate university life more efficiently.
