For decades, the concept of AI-driven warfare was relegated to the realm of science fiction—characterized by fully autonomous drones and sentient command systems. The current reality is far more nuanced. AI is being deployed as a force multiplier designed to handle massive datasets, optimize logistics, and provide real-time decision support in contested environments.

The shift from "science fiction" to "operational reality" means that the technology is already present in the cockpit and the command center. The challenge now lies in the transition from capability (what the AI can do) to utility (what a commander is willing to let the AI do).
