Matt Caranci is organizing "Songs For Science," an evening of music to help support science research at UMass Chan Medical School.

On June 17, 2025, Worcester musicians are set to perform at The Raven for the "Songs for Science" benefit concert, aimed at raising funds for local science education programs. Organized by the Worcester Science Alliance, the event will feature a diverse lineup of local talent, including indie rock band The Sunblind, folk artist Sarah Beth, and jazz ensemble The Blue Notes. The concert not only promises an evening of great music but also underscores the community's commitment to enhancing science education, with all proceeds going towards supporting hands-on learning initiatives in Worcester's schools. Tickets are available online and at the door, with organizers hoping to inspire both music lovers and science enthusiasts to contribute to this worthy cause.
