India's space journey hits several milestones in 2024: From X-ray wonders to solar secrets

In 2024, India's space exploration efforts have marked several significant milestones. The year began with the successful launch of the XPoSat mission, which focuses on studying X-ray emissions from celestial bodies, enhancing our understanding of cosmic phenomena. Following this, the Aditya-L1 mission, India's first solar observatory, reached its destination at the L1 Lagrange point, providing continuous solar observations to unravel the Sun's mysteries. Additionally, the Gaganyaan project, aimed at human spaceflight, has seen progress with the completion of crucial tests like the Integrated Air Drop Test (IADT) and the successful recovery of the Crew Module.
