(OTCBB: [ SITO ]), a technology based mobile media solutions provider, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued a Notice of Allowance to its subsidiary, Single Touch Interactive, for a key invention titled, "Searching for Mobile Content." The patent addresses methods and apparatus for searching mobile content and the transfer of data from and between mobile devices and the cloud.

"This is a significant addition to our patent portfolio and addresses mobile data transfer functions that happen nearly every time a new mobile device is purchased in the U.S. Each time a user purchases a new mobile device and moves information from their old device to a new device, a transfer of data occurs. Most new mobile device purchases today are replacement devices that typically require the transfer of data from a user's prior mobile device to the new one. Often this data transfer occurs from the cloud, where much of the data used on mobile phones is stored, to the new mobile device.

Single Touch's intellectual property assets include 41 patents and applications. With this most recent Notice of Allowance, the Company will increase its issued patents to 20, with 21 more pending.
