Persistent Systems Announces Licensing Agreement With Hewlett Packard for HP Client Automation (HPCA) Software
Continues to Expand IP Portfolio and Strengthen Expertise in PC Lifecycle Management, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Mobile Device Management
PUNE, INDIA and SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 25, 2013) - [ Persistent Systems ] (
HPCA is a scalable PC configuration lifecycle management solution used by large enterprises to automate routine client management tasks such as operating system deployments and upgrades, patch management, application software deployment, application usage monitoring, security, compliance and remote system management. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Persistent Systems will be responsible for the product roadmap and intends to invest in product development, extending all existing aspects of the product including Mac support and Mobile Device Management (MDM) functionality. HP will resell the Persistent Systems' solution which will be a Persistent Systems branded solution.
