Appiphany Technologies adds to management team

KELOWNA, BC, Jan. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - Appiphany Technologies Holdings Corp. ("Appiphany") (OTCBB:APHD) is pleased to announce that Mr. Allen Szeliga has joined the management team as Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Richard Smith as Secretary & Treasurer.

Mr. Szeliga is a Certified General Accountant with over 12 years experience in corporate accounting.  He has extensive experience in accounting and finance along with a strong background in business planning and development of both public and private companies.  Mr. Szeliga will be working closely with Appiphany's President & CEO in developing the corporate business plan and ensuring that it is executed in a efficient and cost effective manner.  In addition, Mr. Szeliga, will be responsible for accounting related issues including quarterly and annual filings.

Mr. Smith has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry with a specialty in micro cap IPOs and mergers.  His extensive knowledge of the investment industry was garnered from years of experience in all areas of the industry including a two year tenure as Manager of Listings for Western Canada for the Canadian National Stock Exchange.  He was a pioneer in cross listing companies between North America and Europe; being the first to list a CNSX traded company on the Berlin Stock Exchange.  His wide range of knowledge and contacts have made him invaluable, being able to advise companies on market and funding strategies and seeing they get executed in a timely manner.  Mr. Smith will be responsible for issues relating to the public market and providing funding to move the Appiphany business plan forward.
