Epic Data Receives CCBC Award for China Strategy
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 28, 2012) - Epic Data International Inc. (TSX VENTURE:EKD), a provider of manufacturing execution systems (MES), today announced it received the Gold Business Excellence Award from the Canada China Business Council in the category of Outstanding SME. The award was presented by His Excellency Zhang Junsai, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Canada, during the CCBC Annual Gala Banquet held in Montreal, Quebec. His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, gave the keynote speech at the event.
Every two years the Canada China Business Council presents Business Excellence Awards to recognize businesses that have played an innovative and leadership role in expanding and nurturing bilateral business relationships between Canada and China. The SME award is given to an enterprise that best exemplifies the innovative inclusion of China in its growth and overall strategies.
